Photo of Officers interacting with CiviliansDelta Station serves East Contra Costa County. The service area includes the unincorporated areas of Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, Bethel Island, Knightsen, Byron, and Discovery Bay.

Delta Station staff consists of 28 sworn staff positions inclusive of one Lieutenant (Station House Commander), five Sergeants; 20 Beat Deputies, and two special district Deputies. The non-sworn staff includes one Community Services Officer and one Crime Prevention Specialist.

The Station House Commander is active within the community by regular participation and communication with the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors and the Municipal Advisory Committees of Bethel Island, Knightsen, Byron, and Discovery Bay.

There are two Deputies and one Community Service Officer who are specifically chosen to serve the specially funded district of Discovery Bay. These Deputies serve as community liaisons and are able to provide an enhanced level of service by being intimately familiar with the needs of the individual communities. They respond to calls for service, conduct follow-up investigations, basic traffic enforcement, attend community meetings and provide ongoing program support to community events.

Our Community Services Officer supports the sworn staff in areas such as vehicle abatement and taking reports.Photo of Officers and their Vehicles

The purpose of our Crime Prevention Specialist is to inform, encourage and remind the public of crime prevention strategies that will reduce crime in our communities by providing crime prevention tips, safety tips, and information on public events, as well as establishing Neighborhood Watch groups within the community.

The staff at Delta Station is committed to the unique area we serve giving a high level of customer service and solution oriented policing.
