Community Services/Crime Prevention Unit
The Community Services/Crime Prevention Unit promotes and provides specialized crime prevention services and expertise to support the safety and well-being of the public throughout unincorporated Contra Costa County. Central to its mission are the building of partnerships and improving public safety through education.
The unit consistently works to meet and exceed the expectations of residents by coordinating and participating in community events in the effort to engage and educate everyone in preventing crime and enhancing public safety.

Fall Citizens Academy: September 11, 2024 to October 16, 2024
- Every Wednesday evening and one Saturday (October 5th)
- Deadline to apply is August 31, 2024 or until slots are full
